As a Maintenance Technician, you ensure our production lines never miss a beat. You’ll be responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance, keeping our equipment at optimum levels. Beyond repairs, you’ll support new equipment installations and participate in improvement projects. You’ll work closely with the engineering team and production operators to troubleshoot issues and maintain a high-quality environment. Your work directly impacts our ability to deliver medical solutions safely and efficiently.
As a E&I Maintenance Technician, you are in charge of ensuring the smooth operation of the production and utility assets at Leiden and Sassenheim sites by responding to and resolving technical malfunctions. Your expertise is key to maintaining diverse equipment, from utility systems and labs to complex biotech production (e.g., fermentation, filtration). You will perform this work in accordance with GMP guidelines.
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration according to the weekly schedule.
- Carry out corrective maintenance and structured root cause investigations for equipment failures.
- Support site automation and participate in new equipment commissioning and validation.
- Train operators on asset care and ensure all equipment safety devices work perfectly.
- Maintain a clean, audit-ready workspace following 5S and GMP requirements.
- New equipment installation, maintenance and contribute in improvement projects.
