These are the sort of questions that are central to our work at ZorgDomein. We develop smart technology to create more room for human work in healthcare. That’s how we help healthcare professionals such as family doctors, physiotherapists and lab technicians to do what they do best: give patients the best possible healthcare. We have been doing just that for 20 years.
Established name with ambition
Did you know that nearly all referrals and diagnostic requests are channelled through our platform? In fact, in 2023 our platform was used 23 million times to refer or request research for patients. ZorgDomein is an established name in the Netherlands, but for us the adventure has only just begun. Your role at ZorgDomein
Next to being part of a development team you will also become part of our Frontend Guild, our diverse and dynamic guild of 10 frontend developers at ZorgDomein! Our group is a mixture of different nationalities, united by a shared passion for creating top-notch digital solutions in healthcare. We pride ourselves on our open and friendly culture, where collaboration and mutual support are key.
Next to the regular team office days, as a member of our frontend guild, you'll join the bi-weekly in-office days to connect, socialize, and collaborate together with the UX team. We also host regular knowledge-sharing sessions and attend conferences to stay on top of the latest developments of our field. Plus, we occasionally unwind with some fun and games. - Improving the user-friendliness of our platform for more than 100,000 customers and 20 million transactions per year
- Designing, implementing, and enhancing features for our end users
- Considering technical choices, such as our architecture, tools, and processes
- Monitoring, analysing, and optimizing the performance of our platform
- Working in a Scrum team with other developers
- Being part of a guild together with your fellow frontend developers and UX colleagues
- Assisting colleagues and yourself with knowledge sharing, code reviews, and pair programming
- Writing automated tests to ensure the quality of the code
- Working based on a CI/CD methodology
About you
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a frontend developer
- You have experience with TypeScript, Angular, HTML, and CSS/SCSS (Knowledge of React is a plus)
- You have at least a Bachelor education working and thinking level
- Design systems hold no secrets for you
- You enjoy collaborating with colleagues of different nationalities; the working language is English
