Your role at ZorgDomein
As a Cloud Platform Engineer in our Cloud Platform Team, you will collaborate with passionate and experienced engineers to design, build, and maintain a stable, scalable, and secure self-service Kubernetes platform. Your focus will be on ensuring the platform is not only technically sound but also offers a seamless developer experience, allowing our development teams to deploy and manage their applications with ease.
You will be hands-on in your approach, contributing to the platform's development, monitoring its performance, and proactively identifying areas for improvement. Your role will also involve close collaboration with other teams to ensure that our solutions are well-documented and user-friendly.
About you
Like us, you are motivated to make a positive impact every day. You are a responsible and passionate professional with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS. Your experience with Kubernetes and modern cloud infrastructure makes you a perfect fit for our dynamic team.
You thrive in environments where you have the freedom to learn and innovate. You enjoy collaborating with your team, contributing your expertise to help develop robust and effective solutions.
If you possess the following attributes, you might be the perfect fit for our team:
- 2-5 years relevant working experience
- A strong engineering mindset with excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in cloud technologies (preferably in AWS), and Kubernetes
- Experience with tools like Terraform, Prometheus/Grafana, and the ELK stack
- Programming skills (preferably in Go) are a plus, but not mandatory
- A passion for automation and working according to GitOps principles
- A collaborative spirit and a desire to contribute to the team’s growth
